I dont make many predictions or call out for new artists that i think are set to take the hip hop world and blow into the limelight in the near future….  I also, and dont hate, am not really into the southern rapper genre. True that i do listen to Jeezy, and Wayne has his moments when he really does seem like one of the “greatest rappers alive” and although a fake officer ricky does have some tunes .
Anyway  this week i bring you PILL aka Gangsta Pill a southern artist emerging from Atlanta’s 4th ward, the same are  of the ATL as Young Jeezy.
I’ve been following Pill since his first mixtape outing 4180 The prescription, which even though was a bit unpolished and raw showed some promise in a lyrical delvery as well as flow and originality. The standout track and underground hit “Trap foing ham’ was the tune that put Pill on the map outside of ATL. Since then he has grown into his second project that dropped back in November “4075 The Refill” a much more indepth look into his sound and character as an artist. I dont want to go into a waffle about backgrounds, imagery, creativeness bla bla fucking bla. Pill is hot (pause) and you wil either like it or not, amongst my people the decision is split.  I will just say dont just listen to the first mixtape as the second one is clearly a much better put together project, thats not to say the first one isnt good i still love Pills Take on  “blow” The instrumental of Single ladies, but hey i like gansta shit!

Again, I have been away enjoying a hard earned break, this time in the arms of a beautiful woman but I’m not one to gloat so right now man is back , ready 4 work, words and 2010.

So belated Happy New year and as a NY present we bring you a video that we have been waiting on for a LONG time!!

The Sex Tape track by London’s Locksmiths has been doing the rounds on radio n clubs all summer and is an absolute banger. For whatever reason the powers that be at Channel AKA decided it wasn’t appropriate for their PLAY list.. or is that the PAYlist?

Someone clearly refused to suck some corporate cock for that one!

Everyone in the know that likes a dirty bassline, bangin beat, hard bars and an addictive hook has been on to this for a LONG time. So peep the AINTHARDTOTELL Exclusive on the video below and check the Locksmiths out on their myspace here:
